Our trip to Egypt was an unforgettable experience, filled with history, culture, and exceptional hospitality. From seamless logistics to outstanding guides, most aspects of the journey exceeded our expectations — especially while traveling as a family. A special mention goes to David, who coordinated the entire trip and ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. One of the absolute highlights of our journey was the Nile cruise on the Dahabiya. It was a truly amazing and unique experience that we all thoroughly enjoyed, and being the very first group on board made it even more special. The Dahabiya itself was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely outstanding. It was a relaxed and intimate way to experience the Nile, and it is an experience we will cherish for years to come. Jemi was fantastic from the moment we landed in Cairo. He picked us up at the airport and ensured our immigration process went smoothly, which immediately put us at ease. Afterward, he arranged an excellent dinner and dropped us at the hotel. We really appreciated how clearly he explained the agenda for the next day so we knew exactly what to expect. When we departed for Luxor, Jemi ensured a smooth airport drop-off and check-in. After we returned to Cairo, he picked us up again, took us to a great restaurant, and dropped us back at the Sofitel. His organization, attentiveness, and warm hospitality made all the logistics effortless. Ahmed, our guide in Giza and Cairo, was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He took great care in explaining the history and significance of the sights and ensured we had a wonderful experience throughout. What truly stood out was how great he was with our daughter — engaging her with riddles and questions to keep her entertained at Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum. His calm and thoughtful approach made the tours enjoyable for our entire family. Lamey, our guide in Luxor, was exceptional. He met us at the Luxor airport and took us to breakfast at an amazing local spot before beginning the tour. His knowledge of Egyptian history was outstanding, and since we had read quite a bit beforehand, it was wonderful to have such in-depth discussions with him. He shared fascinating insights, pointed out unique structures most visitors would miss, and kept the experience engaging with great humor. He even taught our daughter how to read hieroglyphics. Lamey is truly one of the best Egyptologists we’ve ever had, and we felt extremely lucky to have him as our guide. Unfortunately, our experience with Mustafa, the guide at Abu Simbel, was disappointing. He met us at the Abu Simbel airport, took us to the site, gave a brief explanation, and then disappeared. Despite repeated calls and messages, it was difficult to reach him. We also asked him to take us for breakfast, but he was again unavailable. Due to his unreliability, we did not feel comfortable making alternate plans and ultimately returned to the airport. Overall, this was a remarkable and well-coordinated trip. Thanks to David’s planning and the exceptional efforts of Jemi, Ahmed, and Lamey — along with the unforgettable Dahabiya Nile cruise — we leave Egypt with incredible memories that we will treasure forever.

We had a fantastic experience. Everything was very well arranged. Special shout-out to Kerollos who really is the perfect person to guide you through Egypt and arrange things. Our Egyptologist, Hannan, was very knowledgeable and having her as a guide really improved the quality of the visits to the historical sites.

We had a wonderful experience from planning together to knowledgeable tour leader, timing and range of experiences. We especially liked our visit to the Coptic Monastery on our drive to Alexandria. We learned so much, had delicious food experiences and great accommodations. We would recommend them very highly. We even had a man who got us through the Cairo Airport check-in smoothly.

Our late-night ride to Cairo airport was flawless from efficient driving through Cairo traffic to expert and patient assistance through baggage inspections, airline check-in and guidance to the passport control line. Many thanks to Mahmoud and his driver for streamlining our departure - a very satisfying conclusion to the historical and cultural adventure of traveling in Egypt.

We had a wonderful day with Raymona as our guide. She is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She was the perfect guide for the Civilisation Museum, as she studied with the professor who created it.
