What a great experience! From the time we were welcomed at the airport by Mahmoud until our departure four days later, we were escorted from site to site in comfort and with care for our enjoyment and well-being. Our guide Mudi, an Egyptologist, was extremely knowledgeable, and was keen to be sure that my wife and I had the opportunity to enjoy a true Egyptian experience with a mix of the most popular attractions as well as a few off-the-beaten-path destinations. Last but not least, our travel coordinator, Manal, created an itinerary that assured that our trip would be a special one, including scrambling to make a couple of last-minute changes at our request. There are many travel companies in Egypt, but my wife and I highly recommend Great Wonders, and we will use them again for any future travel to Egypt!

Belatedly, my thanks to Basem and the team for organising the TVAES Egypt 2026 Study Tour. My thanks too to John Billman, Ahmed our guide, Tareq our skilled driver, and to Mahmoud (Logistics) who worked quietly but very hard in the background to ensure that everything was in the right place at the right time for our tour to proceed smoothly. We could not have done it without him. The hotels were good as was always the quality of the food we were offered. But despite having advised Great Wonders of Egypt of my food intolerances at the time of booking they weren't always taken into account with the food choices on offer. Consequently, a couple of times I needed to eat some of the emergency food supplies I had brought with me from home. So, from my perspective if anything could be improved it would be a better understanding of food intolerances and food choices to go with them. Thank you.

This was an amazing trip. Our group was on a specialized study tour and we needed special permissions for many of the sites. Mahmoud, our Great Wonders facilitator, made the whole process seem effortless, but it was only because he was working so very hard every day to ensure we had the best possible experience. It was easy to book the trip, too, and our hotel rooms were nice and the food was very good. I traveled with Great Wonders last year, too, and I hope to keep traveling with them in the future.

This is our second journey with Great Wonders and like the first, we had a wonderful time. Our tour worked like clockwork - great sites, hotels, restaurants. A few days in the desert oasis of Siwa was magical. The food was very good, the hotels comfortable, spacious with friendly helpful staff. But the success of the holiday was very much down to the hard work behind the scenes and on the ground of Great Wonders staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a great holiday.
